Mortar removal We carefully remove the existing mortar to a minimum depth of 20mm. This is carried out using advanced dust extraction equipment, significantly reducing dust and keeping the worksite clean and disruption to a minimum.
After the mortar is removed, the brickwork is thoroughly cleaned to eliminate any debris, dust, or loose material. This ensures a strong bond between the new mortar and the brickwork, resulting in a longer-lasting and more effective repointing finish.
Pointing All mortars and pointing styles are applied the traditional way—by hand. This method ensures that every joint is properly packed, with the mortar pressed deep into the brickwork for maximum strength and durability. Hand application also allows for a neater, more accurate finish that’s true to the property’s original aesthetic.
